Pricing

How much does assisted living cost in Bangalore?

Assisted living at Novara Senior Living is priced in bands by room type and care level; see the full breakdown on our pricing page rather than a single number, because the honest answer depends on how much support your parent needs.

What is included in the monthly cost?

The pricing page breaks down what each band includes — as a rule, meals, personal care, housekeeping and activities are included, while add-ons are stated separately rather than hidden.

What happens to my deposit if my parent decides not to move in?

Registration and deposit terms are confirmed with your family in writing at the time of admission, before any payment is made.

Admissions

Where exactly is Novara Senior Living located?

We're at C-15, 3rd A Cross Rd, Manyata Residency, Manayata Tech Park, Nagavara, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560045 — see our location page for directions.

Do you offer short-term or trial stays?

Yes — we offer flexible short-term and long-term stay options. Call us to talk through what would suit your parent's situation.

How quickly can my parent move in?

For a planned move, Novara Senior Living typically needs a few days to prepare the room; for an urgent transition-care need after a hospital discharge, call us directly and we treat it as time-sensitive.

Can my parent bring their own furniture?

This is decided case by case, depending on the furniture and the room — ask us on a call or during a visit.

Is there a minimum stay?

Stays are flexible, with no fixed minimum. Call us to discuss what would suit your parent's situation.

How do siblings who disagree about assisted living usually resolve it?

It helps to visit together if possible, or to share a recorded video tour and a written cost breakdown so everyone is deciding from the same facts rather than assumptions — our making-the-decision page goes into this in more depth.

Can I speak to a current resident's family before deciding?

Yes — with that family's consent, we can put you in touch with a current resident's family. You can also read our reviews on our Google Business Profile.

Care

What is the difference between assisted living and a nursing home?

Assisted living means your parent lives in a supported home with help for daily tasks like bathing and medication, while a nursing home is built around continuous medical treatment — most families looking at Novara Senior Living want the former.

Is Novara an old age home?

People often search for an "old age home" to describe any senior care facility, and that's a fair way to think of us — but Novara is run as a licensed assisted living and memory care home, with named caregivers, a doctor on site daily, and an individual care plan for each resident, closer to hands-on supported care than the traditional old age home model.

What if my parent needs more care later?

Novara Senior Living reassesses care needs regularly and moves a resident to a higher care band rather than asking the family to leave — the goal is one home through changing needs, not repeated moves.

How do I know if my parent needs assisted living or just help at home?

If your parent is safe alone for most of the day but needs help with specific tasks, a part-time caregiver or nurse visiting at home may be enough; if they need supervision most of the day or are isolated and at risk, assisted living usually serves them better — our team can help you think through what fits on a call.

Do you support residents with dementia or memory loss?

Yes, through our dedicated memory care service, built around routine, a secured environment and staff trained for the specific challenges of dementia care.

What languages does your staff speak?

Our staff speak most of the major languages spoken across India — call us if a specific language matters for your parent.

What safety features does the facility have?

Our safety and clinical protocol section on the Life at Novara page lists the safety measures in place.

Do you accept residents needing wheelchair or bed-bound care?

Yes, we accept residents who use a wheelchair or are bed-bound.

Visiting

Can I visit before making a decision?

Yes. Novara Senior Living encourages every family to visit in person before deciding — book a visit through the form on this page or call us directly to arrange a time.

Can family visit anytime?

Yes. Families are welcome to visit anytime — we just ask for a quick call ahead so we can make sure your visit goes smoothly.

Medical

Do you have doctors on site?

Doctors are on site daily and on call overnight, with specialists visiting through the week.

What happens in a medical emergency?

Novara Senior Living has tie-ups with hospitals. In an emergency, an ambulance is deployed quickly to take the resident from Novara to the hospital. Emergency ambulance transport is charged separately.

How do you handle medication management?

It depends on the medication. Generally, our nurse administers it; if a specifically trained caregiver chosen by the family is present, that caregiver may administer it instead.

Do you provide transport for hospital visits or appointments?

For routine hospital visits or appointments, we recommend the family take the resident. If that isn't possible, we can arrange transport on request — arranged transport is charged, on a case-by-case basis.

How is my parent's health status communicated to me?

This is case by case — families can ask for weekly updates, or more often, depending on what works for you.
